The World of Stainless Steel:
Stainless steel- all of it produced since the early 1930s and applied in architecture and building construction, is still in use- with hardly any demand on maintenance. Several beautiful structures across the world- which could be truly called masterpieces of art- stand testimony today to the strength, durability and formability of stainless steel.
Progress in stainless steel manufacturing techniques has led to several finishes and colors being added to the original silver-grey that stainless steel used to be widely known for.
Titanium coating which adds beautiful colors and surface treatments like embossing, etching, polishing and brushing give us a great choice in Stainless steel.
No wonder stainless steel is the most preferred material in India today by architects, builders, and Interior designers with unlimited applications.
Widest variety and range in plain, colored, textured and embossed stainless steel is available readily in India from Minox Metals in Bangalore.
Following is the product range that we offer to customers.

| Grade | Characteristics | Applications |
| 316 | With the addition of Mo, 316 Steel has superior corrosion resistance, pitting corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. As a result, it is used in servere conditions. Its strain hardening is superior and it is non-magnetic. | Material for use in sea-water, equipment for mqnufacturing chemicals, paper, dye, acetic acid and fertilizer, In the photo industry, in the f009 industry, the facilities constructed In the coastal area, rope, CD bar, bolts, nuts. |
| 316L | A low carboH.316 steel type. Has all th.e propertiesof316 steel and has superior Intergranulqr corrosion resistance. | Products made with 316 steel that require superior Intergranular corrosion resistance, mesh. |
| 321 | With the addition of Ti, it has good weldabilty and drawability. | Airplane exhaust pipe, boiler cover, bellows and hoses. |
| 409L | 321 Steel was created by adding Ti to 304 steel, thereby preventing intergranular corrosion. .5uitqble to use under temperature of 430°C~900°C | For use where post-heat treatment is not conducted such as automobile exhaust pipe, heat exchanger, container etc. |
| 410 | Steel type that represents martenistic steel. It has high stregth but is not suitable for severe Corrosiono coonditions. It has superior drawability and becomes hard with heat treatment and is magnestic. | General knife blade, machine parts, petroleum refining apparatus, bolts, nits, pump shaft, spoon, fork etc. |
| 420 | This ferritic steel contains min. 0.3% Carbon and around 12% Cr. Can be heat treated to develop high hardness | Knife blade, nozzle, valve, stick ruler, scissors. |
| 430 | Steel type that represents ferritic streel. It has a low thermal expansion rate and superior drawing and oxidation resistance. | Heat resistant tools, burner, houosehold electric appliance parts, hollow ware, sink cover, building material, bolts, nuts, CD bar, mesh. |
| 301 | Has lower Cr, Ni content than 304 steel. It's tensile strength increases with cold drawing. Though its non-magnetic, it acquires magnetism after cold-drawing. | Trains, Aircrafts, belt conveyors, vehicles, bolts, spring |
| 303 | With the addition of 5, 303 steel has good free cutting property and superior anti-quenchability. | Shaft for electrical appliances, OA products, bolts and nuts |
| 304 | Most widely used steel type. It has good corrosion resistance, thermal resistance, low-temperature strength and mechanical properties. It has good drawability at normal temperature such as deep drawing, bending etc. and does not harden with heat treatment. (non-magnetic, usable temperature range: 196° - 800°C) | Hollow and flat ware, sink, interior piping, hot-water machine, bathtub, boiler, automobile parts (wiper, muffler, moulding) medical instruments, building materials, facilities in the chemical and food industry, the textile Industry, In the dairy industry, an vessel parts |
| 304L | 304L steel is low carbon 304 steel type which has similar corrosion resistance with 304 steel in normal conditions. However, its resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding and stress elimination is superior. It possesses corrosion resistance properties without undergoing heat treatment. | Machinery and tools used in the chemical, coal, and petroleum industry that require high intergranular corrosion resistance, building material, heat resistant parts and parts that are difficult to implement heat treatment on |
| 305 | Has high Ni content. It is non-magnetic and suitable for deep drawing use due to its good cold formability. | Dinnerware, electric parts, TV parts, Pen parts |
| 3105 | This is an austentlc stainless steel with a a higher cr and NI content. These grades find application where higher temperature and severe service conditions exist. | Used for air heaters, annealing boxes, ovens, carburislng boxes, furnace lining |
